Created for the GMTK 2020 Game Jame Themed: "Out of Control"

Use a Controller for a better experience!!!

Revisions are being uploaded throughout this weekend so we are able to test the WebGL builds and make sure we have something uploaded if we are running close to the end time.

Battle with BADnanas and you attempt to control your "Mace". Use your momentum to swing the mace and try to avoid the peels, because they may slip you up.

The plan was to create traps and enemies that all effected the players movement, time was running out so some things go cut short.

After voting we will possibly return to this project to add some features :)

Fun and gloriously goofy.

I had some trouble with my first couple playthrougs, the controls seemed unintuitive, and tripping everytime on banana peels wasnt exactly fun. However, the charming art kept me going, and I eventually learned how to better juggle the flail, and it got quite engaging! I do wish the learning curve wasnt so steep, and the slipping sound effect got pretty old (maybe some pitch variance?)

Great project all around!

Sorry if it was unintuitive, but it is meant to be difficult and "Out of Control" to match the theme.

This is some goofy fun. Really ramps up when you get some speed.

Also, Spikeball-chan is the single greatest character to come out any any media in 2020 and the artist deserves a Nobel prize in both Arts and Peace.

The game is good to though.

Thank you !

Yup, that's madness alright

Thanks haha

I like the sheer chaos of the controls, and the music. It's really fun watching the mace go YEET.

Thanks :) Hope to update it more before the Jam ends

Best of luck! I'm in the jam as well, and there's a lot of fun games to play.

How are you seeing the submitted? Or you just searching the site by new?

I just look at random games on the GMTK submission feed.
